What we collect

Enquiry forms collect name, email, optional consultation preference, preferred call date, and message content. During engagements we may collect financial details you supply (pension statements, income figures, family circumstances relevant to planning). We do not ask for payment card numbers via this website.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process enquiry data to respond to your request (legitimate interests and, where you request a service, steps toward a contract). Client engagement files are processed to perform the contract and to meet regulatory record-keeping duties applicable to UK financial advice. Analytics cookies, if accepted, are processed with consent — see our cookies page.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are usually deleted within 24 months. Engagement files are retained for at least six years after the last advice letter, or longer where regulations or insurers require. You may request earlier deletion where no legal obligation prevents it.

Processors and sharing

We may use secure email, document storage, and video meeting providers to deliver consultations. We share information with your accountant or solicitor only when you ask us to. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some processors may store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that occurs, we seek appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or equivalent contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing the stored preference and revisiting the site. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with our response.

Security

We use access controls and encrypted transmission where available. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending full national insurance numbers in the initial web form.
