Engagement approach
A calm sequence from first call to written plan
Financial advice works best when both sides know what happens next. This page describes how Pillar Grove runs consultations for UK clients — whether you meet by video or at our Herzog End office.
Stages of an engagement
-
Introductory call
Fifteen to twenty minutes to confirm the consultation type, fee range, and whether we are the right firm for your question.
-
Fact-find meeting
We gather income, outgoings, pensions, wrappers, and protection details. You leave with a document checklist if anything is missing.
-
Analysis & drafting
We work through statements and build scenarios. You receive a written pack — not a slide deck — within the timeline quoted for that service.
-
Clarification call
We walk through recommendations, answer questions, and note which actions sit with you, your accountant, or a solicitor.
What we will not do
We will not pressure you into a product during the first meeting. We will not claim to replace your solicitor on wills or your accountant on filings. We will not keep you in an open-ended retainer unless you explicitly request ongoing reviews.
Where meetings happen
Video appointments suit most clients across Great Britain. In-person meetings are available at 449 N Court Street, Herzog End, Scotland, United Kingdom. Parking notes and arrival details are sent with your booking confirmation.
Documents that speed things up
ISA and general account valuations, fund lists, and notes on regular contribution amounts.
Existing will summaries, known gifts, and any firm dates such as retirement or a property exchange.
